    details about syncml

    hi,
i'm trying to get a 3650 going with syncml/linux/ multisync (which now has wbxml support).

I'm getting user error 11 on the phone, and am seeing a client connect message and some network traffic on the multisync machine.

Does anyone know where I can find documentation on what the syncml error numbers stand for?

And perhaps any other information that may help in my debugging efforts ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hugh

Do you achieve this "locally" between your phone and your Linux box (with SyncML over Bluetooth or IR) or do you open your Linux box on the net and access it via GPRS from the phone?

If you manage to make the SyncML client on the phone reach your Linux box "locally" (despite the error you get subsequently for the actual sync), I am deeply interested.

If it is the case, could you please describe your setup?

    Cheers.

I had the connectivity happening over the net via GPRS. That said, somewhere in the nokia forum someone mentions getting opera to work via the bluetooth connection, with a little bit of trickery.

If opera can browse the net, then syncml to the laptop should also be possible,

    cheers.
