    Something wrong with tables in Nokia 6600?

    Hello, I have problems displaying simple xhtml tables
    in Nokia 6600. They work OK in 3650. For example:

    <style type="text/css">
    td {border: solid}
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>A</td>
    <td>B</td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    ...

    The phone displays like this:

    A
    B

    Is there a known problem with tables in Nokia 6600?
    Is there a workaround?
    Or am I doing something wrong?

    Hi,

    please check that you have defined correct MIME type for XHTML MP content in the web server, that is application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml. Do you get the same result in both dispaly modes, vertical and normal? You can change the display mode in Options menu.

    Kind regards,
    Satu

    Hi, thanks a lot. Tables are displayed correctly now.
    The problem was with Options Vertical display / Normal dislay
    setting. (I really do not know why my browser was
    set to vertical display, maybe it is this way by default).
    So, tables do show correctly with Normal display mode.

    The web server gives MIME type text/html, I think it is OK.

    Hi,

    currently, the default display mode is vertical in Nokia 6600. However, XHTML MP content should be displayed correctly in the normal display mode when the content is served with application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml MIME type. Vertical display mode is used for viewing normal HTML web content (text/html).
