    Connecting phone and emulator with USB bluetooth

    is there a way so that i can communicate between the S60 phone and emulator using USB bluetooth adapter?

    Yes,

    If you haven't succeded to do it. One way is to do the following:
    1. Install your USB bluetooth device on your computer (Use preferably the driver that comes with your BT dongle, NOT Windows driver!).
    2. On your phone; Open Connectivity->Bluetooh->Switch BT to ON->Set the visibility to SHOWN TO ALL->Give a name to your Phone.
    3. Switch to Paired devices Tab, Click on Options->New paired device. If the BT installation was successful, you should see your computer listed on your phone.

    Your BT devices can now communicate...

    but i found that the emulator could not start bluetooth services

    Hi

    There is a whitepaper in document section descriping the issues of using BT in emulator, please locate, download & read it.

    If I remember right is thou says that the emulator offers only limited means of using BT and that BT could only be used with two different PCMCIA BT cards, and no support for any USB BT dongle would be available.
