    Hello!

    Has the correct MIME Type set to the server?
    (audio/midi)

    Yes. I also facing the same problem.

    I has added MIME type (audio/mid) to my web server.

    When I using 6610 to download from my WAP site, no problem at all.

    But when using Series 60 phones like 7650 or 6600, it will display "Services, Reply Unknown"

    pls help ~~~

    Re: Problem downloading polyphonic ringtones on my 6610, i keep getting this error:

    Hi Everybody,

    I am facing some other problem regarding downloading content file on Nokia mobile device (not with recent phones having advanced browsers). Basically when i download any content file from my Content Management System i manage to download the content file properly but once file gets downloaded the content file name gets change to the ASP file name

    For example: If my content file name is "Christmas.jpg" then on phone it comes as "download.asp.jpg". Please let me know the solution for this issue. I have googled a lot on this issue but not getting the exact solution for it.

    For reference i am using following piece of code for forcing file to be downloaded on device:

    **************************************************
    objStream.LoadFromFile strIncludeFile

    ContentType = GetMIMEType(FileExtension)

    Response.Buffer = True
    Response.Clear
    Response.AddHeader "Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=" & resultset("ITEM_NAME") & "." & FileExtension
    Response.AddHeader "Content-Length", objStream.Size
    Response.ContentType = ContentType
    Response.CharSet = "UTF-8"
    content = objStream.Read

    ****************************************************

    Your response will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Amit Shah

    Hi,

    I guess you also have to register (audio/midi) as MIME type on server for extesion .mid. I guess that might be causing the problem.
