    Does SDK v2.0 work on Series60 V6.1?

    Hi,everybody,

Would anyone of you give me some ideas on these issues:

1.Whether the applications developed by the SDK v2.0 can work on Series 60 V6.1 platform?

2.Whether they work on target device Nokia 3650 as well?

3.Does SDK V2.0 work better on bluetooth aspect?
Currently I am using SDK V1.2,and want to"" set up and using the bluetooth Testing Environment for Series 60 platform"".As required,I installed the DTL-X driver to emulate the DTL-4 and Bluetooth USB Adapter. When I attempted to use emulator via bluetooth to communicate with Nokia 3650,it fails as "System Error"
Therefore I am thinking about whether for SDK 2.0 case, the emulator can communicate easier via bluetooth with another remote bluetooth device? For example, the DTL-X is not required etc?

I am looking forwarding any help from u guys!

    Thanks in advance!

In my experience it does not.

    Hi !

I've tried to use SDK 2.0 with my 3650 and it did not work. As far as I found out SDK 2.0 uses some new features like compressed resources which are not supported on 6.1 phones. But I'm no expert (yet ;-) and there might be a way to disable the new features but I didn't find any hint how to do that.

    Regards,
    Bernd
