    RxLev & RxQuality

    Hi everybody.
In the old Nokia's phones there was an engineering mode, and you can activate it by special procedures. this mode exposed new menu to get everything about gsm network info. Nokia stop this mode, so I looking for some useful api that can help.
I've already read the whole boards and I get alot of these api.
    Some are in etel.h, etelbgsm.h, etelagsm.h, and etelsat.h,
but I couldn't get the etelsat.h header file. one other thing there is no good documentation for these api.
Now I'm looking for these values RxLevel (recieved level in dBm) and RxQuality (recieved qulaity).

Please refere to this page for more information about engineering mode.

Depending on the SDK, you can obtain signal strength (RxLev) in dBm by using:
    S60 1st Edition - etelbgsm.h
    S60 2nd Edition FP2 - rconnmon.h
    S60 3rd Edition - etel3rdparty.h

But I don't know how to obtain RxQuality (received quality) or BER (Bit Error Ratio) value on Nokia 6680 (S60 2nd edition FP2) :/

    Nokia developers, please help us.

    Thanks in advance.

S60 3rd Edition - etel3rdparty.h does not update the dbm value too often. The value is constant most of the times on E90 and E61 phones. It seems that the value only changes, if the signal is very low and the signal bars going down or going up. Is this a known firmware bug and is Nokia trying to change that?
