    NetBeans and Series 40 emulator

I can't get the Series 40 emulator to work in NetBeans, even though the Series 60 emulator is fine.

I'm using NetBeans for development and I'm targeting both the Series 40 and 60. I've installed the Nokia Developer Suite for J2ME 2.0, using the "standalone" variant of the install. Then I used NetBeans' "Device Emulator Registry" tool to make the emulators available.

This worked fine with the Series_60_MIDP_Concept_SDK_Beta_0_3_1_Nokia_edition emulator. But the Nokia_7210_MIDP_SDK_v1_0 isn't working at all. And when I look at what's in the various directories they look completely different.

So.... anyone know how to make this work, or does anyone understand enough about the structure of these emulators to figure out what's going on?

Turns out you can copy the Nokia_7210_MIDP_SDK_v1_0 emulator directory from the Nokia Devices folder to NetBeans' directory \.netbeans\3.5\emulator\j2mewtk-1_0_4-win\wtklib\devices (on Windows) and that makes it available.
