    Nokia 30 I/O

    Hallo,
Is it possible to send SMS triggered by an Input?
I would like to input signals directly into the Nokia 30 (50 pins or through rs-232 adapter) and as a result of the input, a SMS will be send.
Do I have to use the M2M tools, or it can be done with the Nokia 30 alone?

    RE: Nokia 30 I/O

You can use the following User Control Mode (text message control mode) commands. Suppose you have used the Configurator to set the Message Indentifier to "Nokia30", and the password ro "abcde", and the Terminal is set to "Alarming":

    Nokia30 abcde Input_get All

This will result in a text message sent back to the phone number where the command came from, when any input states change. Settings for digital input or analog input thresolds can be set with the Configurator.

Ask Nokia for "Nokia 30 GSM Connectivity Terminal guide for User Control Mode" for more information, because I can't find it here on the site. Hey, Nokia people, is it publicly available?

Sorry, I made a mistake. The right command is

    ...Input_Get_Change All

The "Get" just reads, "Get_Change" sets monitoring for changes on.
