    WAP Phones that support WML Script

    What are Nokia Phones that support WML Scripting - GSM, CDMA and TDMA? (If possible marked/highlighted those existing in the Brazilian market) Do all of them have 1,400 bytes of internal memory (that is needed in some applications, together with WML Script support)?

    RE: WAP Phones that support WML Script

    Ok, so here is the answer to part of your question.

    These phones are currently available and support WMLScript . . .
    7190 WML 1.1 and WMLscript
    3360 WML 1.1 and WMLScript
    3395 WML 1.1 and WMLScript

    These phones have been announced and support WMLScript . . .
    6390 WML 1.2.1 and WMLScript
    8390 WML 1.2.1 and WMLScript

    And the last two numbers translate to . . .
    xx90 = is GSM for US 1900
    xx60 = TDMA
    xx65 = TDMA

    The memory I'm not sure about. I'll see if I can find the answer though.

    RE: WAP Phones that support WML Script

    I am aware of three Nokia phones in the Brazilian market that support WML script.

    3280 (CDMA) - Openwave 4.1 minibrowser with WAP 1.1 support
    7160 (TDMA) - Nokia browser with WAP 1.1 support
    3320 (TDMA) - Nokia browser with WAP 1.2.1 support

    I am not sure how much internal memory is available for use by WML script. I'll post another message if I come across this information.

    GSM phones are expected in Brazil during Q2 of 2002.

    Micheal
