6620 HttpConnection creation fails with "Symbian OS Error -18"

I have a test midlet that opens an HttpConnection to a valid URL (e.g. Connector.open("http://myserver.com/testfile"). OTA installation to a pre-production 6620 through Cingular's WAP gateway in the U.S. works fine but Connector.open() throws an IOException with the message "Symbian OS Error -18".

I also installed Nokia's MIDP 2.0 TCPMIDlet OTA but got the same result when opening a socket connection to a tcpecho server running on a known server.

Is this a handset configuration problem or a bug?

I have similar problem with native applicaiton

-18 is KErrNotReady. This looks like a firmware bug on 6620. What firmware version do you have?

    Mine is
    6620
    V 1.18.0
    27-02-04
    NHL-12

Have you tried TCPMIDlet on your 6620?

    My 6620 version is
    1.15.1
    20-02-04
    NHL-12

I tried to run TCPMIDlet and it threw the same exception with "SymbionOS error -18" as the message.
