porting WTK developed application in NOKIA handset

    Dear all ,

I have developed an J2ME application using Wireless Toolkit (WTK) using MIDP 1.0 .
while porting the developed application on NOKIA 7250i which also supports MIDP1.0 the application on the handset it gives

    ERROR: Application Not Supported.

could any one guide how can i port the application developed in WTK to port in NOKIA handset.

Check your JAD file for MIDP version.

If you used WTK 2.0, your JAD file probably has MIDP 2.0 declaration, while your target phone supports MIDP 1.0 only

Make sure that your Manifest and JAD specify MIDP 1.0 and CLDC 1.0. Specifying "MIDP 1.0" option in WTK project settings, and then packaging should do the trick, but double check that. Hope this helps.

FYI: I'm using 7210 to test my MIDP 1.0 appplications and they work fine.
