    XMF support

I have found the list of RMF supporting devices in another forum-thread.
Does anyone have a list of XMF supporting devices?

    No

Your question was about a Nokia...
I have tested XMF on 3650 and 7650, but both did not work. Probably because these are somewhat older devices.

Will XMF work on newer devices?

Beatnik mobileBAE supports XMF in addition to RMF.
Beatnik miniBAE can support RMF but not XMF.

Just because a phone supports RMF does not guarantee that it supports XMF.

The question is whether Nokia phones have mobileBAE or miniBAE. I have read statements by Beatnik claiming that Nokia has not yet licensed mobileBAE for its phones.

Therefore, I dont think that Nokia uses mobileBAE yet, so I dont think that XMF works in Nokia phones, but I could be wrong and maybe someone has successfully tested XMF in a Nokia phone.

As for RMF in Nokia, all series 60 symbian phones should support RMF. This also includes SonyEricson Symbian phones. (atleast according to Beatnik...)

Sendo X and Siemens SX-1, both non Nokia phones, use the mobileBAE and supposedly support XMF.

    Hi,

There's no support for XMF at the moment in Nokia phones.

    Best regards,

Just incase anyone was wondering, it seems that all Symbian UIQ devices are now supporting XMF.
