    parameter passing through url

I am buidling a wap 2.0 app and testing on a sony T610

My preferred method of deciding where the user wants to go next is to pass actions along with the cgi call:

    <a href="http://www.acme.com/script.cgi?user=1&action=view">view</a>

My phone does not want to go to this link. Is there a problem interpreting the '&' ? In the src I have encoded this with (with the 'amp;' suffix).

It works on my desktop browser (opera) and I have ran the code through a verifier to comfirm complience and syntax.

    TIA

    Kevin

On further investigation it does not appear to be the url parameters.

It seems to be a problem with the destination page. This page has also been validated and is around 10k.

When the link is selected, the phone momentarily attempts to donwload it, then reverts back to the current page. No error msg to indicate what the problem is.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    TIA

    Kevin
