Sending SMS from a PC using AT commands

    Hi,

I have developed a PC application which sends SMS messages from a Nokia6310i using AT commands. It works fine, but I noticed the same AT commands executed on a hyperterminal send the SMS quicker. I checked the flow control is the same using AT+CBST? What other settings should I check?

    Thanks

    Hi!

To speed up the communication, you should increase the baudrate. Nokia 6310i is able to autobaud the speed so you could use speed up to 115200bps. to communicate with the phone.
