    Adding our own Menu item

    Hi,

    Can I add my own item in any of the in-built application?

    For example, in camera application I want to add <send via MyAPP> along with other existing options like <send via Bluetooth>, <Send via IR> etc.

    Is it possible? If so, how? Any sample would be great.

    most usually you can't. Exceptions being propably menu items that are included dynamically.

    The 'send via' is propably checking the mtm's installed into the system and if their capabilities match with the required it'll show it on the menu.

    I basically have to say that mtm area is something I don't know too much about, but maybe you could do some more research on the topic and post here if you find solutions for this.

    As Yucca said you cannot add menu items to another application as it would mean change their resource files and also code for handling the new menu items.

    The only exception are Message Type Modules (MTM). There is a nice example on this topic here:
