    line breaks in CEikLabel

Has anyone achieved to get some long text in a CEikLabel control to be distributed _over several lines_?

(Another question: Has anyone a working example for the usage of the AknLayoutUtils::LayoutLabel function?)

CEikLabel only wraps if the text contains newlines. So you will have to add them by hand. Sorry, but I don't have any experience with the layout function you mention.

    Thanks to your answer, chuckdog.

I've found a way in using the AknTextUtils::WrapToStringL() helper function (see <aknutils.h>, others available as well) for inserting linefeeds into a string.

For those, who have the same question.

To put multiline text into CEikLabel, use one descriptor and devide lines in it with symbol '\n'.

Yes, that is what post #2 has stated 6 years and 2 weeks ago.
