    Advise_OBEX_J2ME_Series 40

    Hi guys,

I am new in Java for mobile phones and I need some advise. Our company has a Bluetooth device, which acts as a OBEX or FTP server. The case is that I have developed some small client applications for Symbian series 60 smartphones using the OBEX API from Symbian. But now I have started with Nokia series 40, which only supports Java, and I have realised that the OBEX API for java is not supported.
At this moment, I was woredering if it were smart to implement the OBEX protocol. Do you have any valuable advise? I will be very grateful.

    Fernando

    hey ferranhalden,

some months after you i'd love to play with obex and my 6230i too.
did you find a solution to surpass obex, did you implement it? are there hard reasons that make it impossible implement it and get it running on a series 40 phone?

    thanks in advance
    Till Backhaus

Guys, there are many source codes online for OBEX implementations. Some are free and others are commercial. Try google.
