I'm attempting to use the CMdaAudioPlayerUtility class to play an arbitrary WAV. The NewDesPlayerReadOnlyL method provides a signature where a descriptor to the WAV is passed in.
Ideally I would like the WAV to be resident as a resource in the rSC file, stored as type BUF8. I can't seem to find a way to do that. Am I missing something, or is there no way to compile arbitrary binary data from a file into a resource?
Any help would be appreciated.
