Difference between a form and a dialog

    Hi guys

I know this might sound very stupid to you guys. But I'm just a starter, so please cooperate.

What is the difference between a form and a dialog in Series 60? When should I chose one over the other? I know how they are defined and somehow, I got a feeling that they serve the same purpose. So why specialise a dialog into a form?

    Thanks in advance

the CAknForm is just more specialized version of the dialog for series 60 platform, offering series 60 specific look & feel. The CEikDialog is base class for it, so basically it is more generic implementation of the same thing.

CEikDialog should also work better between different platforms, and to make it really portable you could see papers written by sander in symbian.com

    Thanks Yucca

You cleared it up for me. And Sander's papers look useful.

    Thanks
