Does 6610 support AT commands over USB?

I am currently sending AT commands over serial link to 6310i. I want to migrate from serial to USB, so I'm looking for phone with USB connection that support AT commands, especially SMS and USSD.

Is 6610 ok? (I don't want to use 6610i because I don't need the camera.)

    Thanks!
    Bob

Oh, I'm using a Python program and its serial module, not the PC connectivity SDK, if that matters.

Thanks for the response. Do you know if this is scheduled (Linux driver for cables)?

We are curruently using 6310i with serial cable for our application, but we are getting complaints from our customers that the 6310i is old and hard to come by, so we are switching to a more modern phone. We are also porting from Solaris to Linux for cost savings. So, having USB driver would be important.

The only other option would be USB to Bluetooth, as done by
