    Nokia Smart Messaging License question

I'm currently working on an SMS library that allows a user to send many different types of SMS (EMS, concatenated SMS...) and I would like to add support for Nokia Smart Messaging. The library is licensed under LGPL and I wonder if I can add nokia smart messaging to the library without beeing sued by Nokia.

Do I have to sign the smart messaging license for this library? The license only talks about phones and applications. This library is not an application... Should the users who use my library sign the license since they are creating an application with my library?

It would be great if someone at Nokia could answer my questions...

RE: Nokia Smart Messaging License question

    Hello!

As I'm a technical consultant I can't say nothing on this issue, but I did forward this question to our legal department and I'll let you know when I have some answers for you.

RE: Nokia Smart Messaging License question

    Hello!

I got an answer from our Legal department: in their opinion you need to sign the agreement as well as the people that are using your library. Let me know how the development is progressing.
