    hello!

the sip plugin v1.0 has a new document "Series 60 SIP Programmer's guide" and there is a CSIPExample in it.

But this example seems to have many bugs that i can't solve...
could anyone who had experience show us the corrected one?

i'm a novice at sip programming, please help me!
    Thanks a lot!

    Best Regards

    Hi,
I tryed to used the CSIPExample link the .cpp and .h files with HelloWorldPlus example project of C:\Symbian\7.0s\Series60_v20\Series60Ex\helloworldplus.
You must also make the SipAppCapabilities.xml file and inlude it in the .sis file

In this way i can make a REGISTER and an INVITE but i can catch the respons and when i send an INVITE to my client he response whit "SIP/2.0 400 Bad Request".
So for this aspect i can't help you.

    CSIPExample

    Hi,

finally I can compile the CSIPExample. Can anyone tell me about the
    SipAppCapabilities.xml ?

In the SIP Programmer's guide the write: "The opaque_data –field contains the applications capabilities in XML format; the format is defined in SipAppCapabilities.dtd. The DTD is provided below: "
    .
    .
    .
Should it be a .xml or a .dtd file?

Once created this file, just inlude it in the .sis file? That's all?

Where can I read more about these SipAppCapabilities?

    Thanks for any help!

    Gian
