    I had a dream

As 3G / Video phones are coming.

Last night I had a dream that I have a Nokia phone which I am able to connect with my TV (just like a video camera) and I am able to see and speak with the caller on my TV.

Is there anythin in plan, in future we will be able to do this

Nothing prevents a phonbe manufacturer putting a video-out interface to their phone, if they wish.

If you also get a TV manufacturer to cooperate, it could also be done through an USB cable or wirelessly with Bluetooth or WLAN (both devices would, of course, have to support the same mechanism).

Something like that may come out as a standard (depending on what kind of use cases they work on) through the DLNA, Digital Living Network Alliance (http://www.dlna.org/) & especially their Mobile/Handheld Subcommittee.

There's already a product for displaying phonecam images on a TV using Bluetooth, so the idea is not far-fetched.

    ..something related..

Although propably quite not what you are looking for, take a look at http://www.ideanresearch.com/camero/ .

The composite video connection can be hooked up to your TV.
There are also wireless adapters for composite video.
So basically if your 3G phone can show your caller participant on the phone screen, you can get it to your TV with this Camero device.

6820 as a keyboard? - Irda, cable, anything?

I need to transmit key presses from a Nokia 6820 phone (Series 40) to a computer for testing purposes. This would have to emulate a local keyboard, so a Bluetooth HID profile (used by Bluetooth keyboards) would be suitable.

Unfortunately, it seems from http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ght=%2A6820%2A that this can't be done over Bluetooth on the 6820.

Is there any other way then? Perhaps through IR or cable connection?

There was a post about WAP over Bluetooth. Is there any solution for transmitting keypresses over WAP in real time (<100ms delay)?

    Any help appreciated.
