    Play Midi!? (series 60)

    Hi,

    Got a midifile that's playing ok on the 6230, 7600.
    But when playing it with jsr-135 (player) on the 7610, N-Gage (r1) there is no sound. The 7610 just flashes some msg quickly, the n-gage displays a Media Server error message.

    Is there something special with these? Or all Series 60!?

    midi filesize between 40bytes up to 2000bytes

    played like this:

    byte[] song={/* midi data */ };
    customMidiFile=(InputStream)(new ByteArrayInputStream(song));

    try {
    m_musicPlayer=Manager.createPlayer(customMidiFile,"audio/midi");
    m_musicPlayer.prefetch();
    }catch(Exception ex){}
    }

    try{
    m_musicPlayer.setMediaTime(0);
    m_musicPlayer.start();
    }
    catch(Exception ex){}

    Any tips regarding this? Have done testing on different phones without success. Seem to be many many posts with similar problems on the series 60 platform.
