Handling Progress Bar on Socket Connection

I want to implement a progress bar while conecting
    to socket ?

I m checking the istatus Variable in RunL() method ..
Till the time istatus == KErrNone i want to show that Progress Bar ..
I have put the progress bar on a new dialog and as soon as i call socket.connect () i activate the dialog with progress bar .

Now how to update the progress bar ? and how to stop it .

I m little confused as to how to go about it ?

Can someone throw some light on it ??

Look into the SDK Help on this topic: Series 60 -> Series 60 Examples -> Example Applications -> Progress bar control example

    and description of CAknProgressDialog class
