    D211 Linux Install

Can anyone guide me to install D211 on Linux ?
I did all the steps from Nokia, however it seems like my computer can detect D211 but I can't give any command to it like the device isn't ready.

    Here what I've done:
    1. install pcmcia-cs and build nokia_cs and modify nokia_cs.opts to GSM
    2. insmod -k pcmcia_core
    3. insmod -k i82365
    4. insmod -k ds
    5. /etc/init.d/pcmcia start

    linux% nokia_ctl enable_gsm
    Please give the PIN code
    PIN:
    Timeout in IPC message sending
    msgrcv: Interrupted system call

    Thanks in advance.

    RE: D211 Linux Install

Have looked at the kernel messages? Take the card out, say "tail -f /var/log/messages", put the card back in and look at the messages. That should give you some hint about your specific problem. Is the WLAN part working?

ps. I'm just using the D211/WLAN to write this...

Yes, it is working just fine. what I forgot was, I didn't start the nokia_cs command before giving enable_gsm command.
