    Hello,

Sorry for the delay. We can answer to this Forum only occationally.

This is what have been answered to this Forum at 26th July 2003:

    Hello,

Displaying the signal strength is made by:
    - For WLAN: Read /proc/net/nokia_cs
    - For GSM: You can make an application with the help of SDK.

Displaying and selecting the available mobile network providers are made by:
    - For WLAN: Read /proc/net/nokia_cs. Selecting requires
that you put the selected network into nokia_cs.opts profile.
    - For GSM: You can make an application with the help of SDK.

Loading the driver automatically (it doesn't work with the init script because of the interactive PIN Number query) is made by:
    - Either disabling PIN code request in the SIM card
    - Or by making an application that gives the PIN code automatically and put it in the init scripts. You can do that easily by modifying the provided UI code.

    Best Regards,
    Nokia D211 Support
