    install error in simulator

    My program run in simulator correctly,but install error.
    I install my program in nokia s60 simulator, but install error, the simulator coredump.

    my install process below:
    1: make pkg file below
    ; Light.pkg
    ;

    ;Language - standard language definitions
    &EN

    ;Standard SIS file header

    ;Supports Series 60 v 2.0

    "..\..\..\Epoc32\release\wins\udeb\z\system\apps\LIGHT\LIGHT.rSC"-"C:\system\apps\Light\Light.rsc"

    2: makesis Light

    3:copy the light.sis file to install fold in the simulator

    4: install it in the simulator's app manage

    But the simulator coredump.

    And I run simulator again, the icon Light is show, and run the program correctly.
    It is too oddness.

    Who can tell me why I install error?

    I think you forgot the quotation mark (!) to create the directory

    When you install your application on emulator you already have a application with the same UID already "installed" in emulator's Z drive.
    You should try to install the application on a clean emulator.

    That's right
    you have to pay attention to the uid. this has to be unique and must be the same in application and install file
