    DOJA appli -> Create Image from Byte Array

    Hi there,

    I am currently working on a platform for mobile devices using the DoCoMo-Java implementation.

    Now I want to create an image from a downloaded byte-array during runtime. There seems to be no way to create an image from a byte-array like in J2ME with Image.CreateImage(byte[] data,int size);

    I can easily create an image using the MediaImage-ressource manager, but the image is externally loaded so I cannot take use of the mediaImage-class.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    PS: I think it´s about time to create an ENGLISH-SPEAKING forum for DOJA-related topics in particular on this site? I keep on looking for troubleshoots, but I always end up browsing sites in Japanese, which I am unfortunately not capable of ;-)

    put the externally loaded image in the scratchpad then use the MediaManager.getImage() method
