Hello,

I am trying to get my Nokia D211 joined to a Motorola SBG9000E combined wireless access point and cable modem.

I downloaded the latest 2.4.27 kernel, compiled, installed rebootet, and then compiled the nokia_cs module using latest 1.06 driver.

It seems to be running but I cant seem to join it to the access-point. It keeps spamming my syslog with:

D211_Error: Unknown Information Element in bssinfo: 42
D211: Scan result from ssid: Motorola: channel=1
D211_Error: Join Result: Invalid Parameters.
D211: BSS Join failed. BSSID=00:90:4b:6b:70:c5

In /etc/pcmcia/nokia_cs.opts I have:
MODE=WLAN
PROFILE=vn
NETWORK_START=no

[vn]
mode=infra
restrictchannel=
ssid=Motorola
shared_key1=
active_key=

The access-point is configured with no encrypting, ssid broadcast on, ssid Motorola and no MAC-adresse-locks. And it is on channel 1 where the card detects it.

dmesg says (d211-related):
cs: memory probe 0x0c0000-0x0fffff: excluding 0xc0000-0xd3fff 0xdc000-0xfffff

and then it continues trying to join to the AP.

The debug_s211.sh says:

Anyone know what is causing this problem and how to solve it? The card is able to join the AP from a machine running Windows XP SP2.
