    UDP server

    I wrote a TCP-server, which listens TCP-client at localhost (and after connection sends data). Now want to change this server to UDP-server. How this is done, what is needed to do? Can UDP-server listen for incoming data (not connection, because UDP is connectionless protocol?)? I mean eg. UDP-server starts at boot and leaves listening incoming data at localhost.

    I think this might help you,

    User::LeaveIfError(iSocketServ.Connect());

    User::LeaveIfError(iListener.Open(iSocketServ, KAfInet, KSockStream, KProtocolInetTcp));

    User::LeaveIfError(iBlankSocket.Open(iSocketServ));

    iAddress.SetAddress(KInetServAddress);

    iAddress.SetPort(4500);

    iListener.Bind(iAddress);

    iListener.Listen(5);

    iListener.Accept(iBlankSocket,iStatus);

    iEngineStatus = EConnecting;

    SetActive();

    Cheers,
    Sunil
