    XML via HTTP

    Hi
    I have no idea about this :
    is there a standard way to send an XML via HTTP ?

    please help and/or refer me to examples

    You don't have much choices when you want to send something through HTTP and it doesn't matter if it is XML or any other data. You can use GET, POST methods to fetch data from server or POST method to send data from client to server. Body of the http request can contain your XML document.

    so I send the XML as a regular text as the body of the post request , correct ?

    yes. Also you should use "text/xml" rather than "text/plain" in content-type header field of the request... but if you are posting data to some servlet you have written it doesn't really matter...
