    Login Pages

Is there an accepted way to handle login for a secure site?

Should the login process rely on cookies or is url rewriting required?

Is using a standard challenge response mechanism a good idea for a simple login procedure?

Thanks for answers or tips on any of the above...

I was just trying to find out if someone could recommend a login mechanism for WAP sites. I am currently working on using a simple HTTP challenge response mechanism but I'm not sure how many phones will support this?

    Hi,

I use a code with the links, when users log on my page generate an 64bits code and sabe in database.
On each link I use it, and on each page, i verify if the code exists.

it's working well! I never had problems with it.
