We're using CodeWarrior Studio Pro for Symbian OS v2.8 and trying to debug an app on a Nokia 6600 using an IrDA connection.

We've compiled MetroTRK v1.10 and uploaded it to the phone.
the INI file looks like this:

[SERIALCOMM]
PDD EUART%d
LDD ECOMM
CSY IRCOMM
RATE 115200
PORT 0

MetroTRK loads OK. However, we can't connect to it from the IDE (we get a timeout). Windows doesn't even recognize the IrDA is in range (doesn't show the IR device icon in the tray).

We're using Windows XP as the development workstation, with USB infrared dongles.

Has anyone done this before? We previously used GDB successsfully - the GDBSTUB actively turns on the IR connection and Windows does find it. It looks like the MetroTRK silently listens for an incoming connection and that's why Windows doesn't find it.
