Any chance to play streamed rm/3gp through J2ME ?

    Hi,
we have streamed rm (or 3gp) video files which we play on Symbian phones.
Is there any chance to play them on J2ME ?

(I know that there were discussions on this topic here already, but I didn't fined any clear answer/pointer to solution)

    Thanks,
    Michal

A number of Nokia phones support 3gp playback via MMAPI/MIDP2.0. As far as I know, none of them currently support continuous streaming. You can read the stream from a remote source (http) but the player will not start until the entire stream is loaded.

ok, some of the phones don't have access to VideoPlayer (e.g. 6230) from Java. Is there any implementation of MPEG/3GP/RM player in J2ME?

We provide 3GPs/RMs through Helix, so when we pass URL to phone, it's prefixed rtsp://. Is it possible to get video file from that ? I assume it should be possible, if there was some J2ME implementation of RTSP protocol. Am I right ?
