I have installed a Cardphone on a desktop PC using a PCD-RP101 PCMCIA-to-PCI card.

The installation of the cardphone runs normally until it does the driver checking. It hangs while checking the MPAPI.
Although I was able to continue the installation by removing the cardphone, the Cardphone software itselfs also hangs at runtime.

Again, when I remove the cardphone, the Cardphone software continues to run, but it can't find the device after inserting it again.

It's a Hewlett Packard Vectra PC running Windows 2000 without any service packs.

Does anyone know a solution for this?
Thanks in advance.
