RE: No PC connection to 6310i using IRDA

You can download the IRCOMM update from here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/security/q252795/default.asp

That worked for me. For some reason I haven't been able to establish connection through cable...

No PC connection to 6310i using IRDA

    I am using a Dell laptop with Windows 2000 & a 6310i.
My IR connection was working fine. When I enabled IR on the Cell, the PC would report 6310i connected, and I could communicate with the phone using Logomanager.
I then installed the Nokia software, PC Suite 4 & Modem.
PC Suite worked well, until I shut down and restarted.
Now when I enable IR on the Cell, the PC does not even start a IR session to the device.
I have tested the PC with other IR devices and it works.
I have tested the cell with other IR devices and it works.
I have uninstalled the Nokia Modem software, but this does not help.
I have tried to download IrCOMM from Microsoft, but cant find it. MSDN library has a section on IrCOMM but there is no download.
What has gone wrong & how do I get my cell to communicate with my PC again?

RE: No PC connection to 6310i using IRDA

I have same problem with 6310i and Toshiba notebook (W2K installed)
It seems IR is unstable and unrelaible with PC Suit 4.81.
