    RE: problem in creation of application

    An example application like SLHello.c in stdlib folder.
    This is the file *.mpp that i use to create the project
    // HELLO.MMP
    //
    // Copyright (c) 1997-1999 Symbian Ltd. All rights reserved.
    //

    TARGET hello.exe
    TARGETTYPE exe
    UID 0
    SOURCEPATH .
    SOURCE slhello.c
    SYSTEMINCLUDE \epoc32\include\libc \epoc32\include

    LIBRARY estlib.lib euser.lib
    STATICLIBRARY ecrt0.lib

    I can create the abld file but not the application and i think the problem for me is in the NMAKE file...
    Thank you.

    RE: problem in creation of application

    The compiler says :
    NMAKE : fatal error U1073: don't know how to make '"..\..\..\..\..\..\Symbian\6. 1\Series60\EPOC32\RELEASE\ARMI\UREL\ECRT0.LIB"'

    There is one Ecrt0.lib for WINS, but there isn't any ECRT0.LIB for ARMI. Please compile this application for THUMB. For example:

    abld build thumb urel

    Afterwards you could make the package file like:

    ; Languages -
    &EN

    ; Installation header
    ; Application UID
    #{"Hello"},(0X00000000),1,2,31

    "\Symbian\6.1\Series60\Epoc32\Release\thumb\UREL\HELLO.exe"-"C:\system\apps\Hello\Hello.exe"

    You will notice, when you installed the sis file that you won't see any icon related to this application. Using a file browser (for example from http://psiloc.com) you could execute your application.
