Is it possible to share a GPS receiver between
multiple receivers?

As far as i know All BT gps receivers use NMEA,
Nmea uses allways RFCOMM(==serial port profile).

This makes the communication point to point, so neither end
can have other connections. Am i correct that this is not a
symbian limitation, but a limitation of the RFCOMM protocol?

Is it also so that the RFCOMM cannot be listened by multiple
symbian programs in single device, at one time?
(Except by using a median server that shares the info forward,
such as Symbian8 location api.)

With L2CAP it would be possible to do point to multipoint traffic,
but there is no GPS doing this? At least there is no standard for it?
