I want to develop a small test application for the 3410 to understand the principles. I want to do that with the minimum software necessary. I don't want to install big packages therefore.
What I understood so far is this:
-I install the MIDP class library on my PC
-I write a test.java which uses the MIDP classes. This is called a MIDLET?
-I compile that into a class file
-I upload the .class file to my homepage
-I create a wml-page which somehow points to the class file(?)
-with the mobile phone, I fetch this WAP page and the java app gets installed.

Is this correct?
