    http header for passing MSISDN

    hello,
I am using Nokia Activ Server and Activ ID for testing. I need to catch the Http header through which nokia gateway passes client's phone number(MSISDN) to content servers. Can anyone tell me through which http header gateway passes this information to http server?
    TIA

RE: http header for passing MSISDN

    Hi,

The subscriber's MSISDN is passed to the origin server using "X-Nokia-MSISDN" header. This requires that Nokia Activ ID product option is in use and the sending of the header has been enabled (in the server configuration).

    Best Regards,

RE: http header for passing MSISDN

    Hey,

The MSISDN number can be retrieved from a cookie (User-Identity-Forward-msisdn). This requires that your gateway operator has enabled MSISDN forwarding to your IP address.
    See more information at http://www.wapforum.org/faqs/technicalfaq.htm#faq08.

There might be a list of MSISDN headers in the web somewhere. The header information varies: for example the UP gateway adds a HTTP header (HTTP_X_UP_SUBNO) giving the "subscriber no" for the user on the GSM network they are using.

    Hope this helps,
