    7610 video positioning

    hi all,

    I've run into trouble trying to position video clip playback on 7610.

    I'm playing a 3gpp video clip on a canvas with setFullScreenMode set to true. Everything works fine on other phones & modulators, however, for some reason on 7610 setDisplayLocation calculates the position of the video clip NOT from the top left corner of the screen (FullCanvas) but from the normal canvas top left corner.

    has anyone got any ideas what this might be down to?

    cheers!

    code snippet...

    Hi, sorry forgot to include the code for this problem. This exists in an extended Canvas class that has been set to fullscreen. Here we go:

    public void asdfVideo() {
    try {
    java.io.InputStream is = getClass().getResourceAsStream("/asdf.3gp");
    this.player = Manager.createPlayer(is,"video/3gpp");
    this.player.realize();
    if ((videoControl = (VideoControl) player.getControl("VideoControl")) != null) {
    videoControl.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO, this);
    int frameW = videoControl.getSourceWidth();
    int frameH = videoControl.getSourceHeight();
    videoControl.setDisplayLocation(0,0);
    videoControl.setDisplaySize(frameW, frameH);
    videoControl.setVisible(true);
    }
    this.player.start();
    } catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println("error in asdfVideo constructor: " + e.toString());
    }

    }

    ... and like I said above, this displays in the top left corner of the screen on all other phones that I've tested it on as well as on emulators. Only phone that stubbornly displays it in the top left corner of the normal canvas area (although it does have the canvas set to fullscreen so that top and bottom areas of the normal canvas are not displayed) approx is 7610.

    cheers!

    I've had the same problem, I have no idea how to get around it
