I have questions about the building of a MMS.
I built a message type m.retrieve.conf with Nokia Toolkit 3.1.
I add a gif file, a text file and a arm file.
After, I choose to generate automaticlky the smil presentation.
I save the mms. And I parsed the hexa code.
According to the wap forum specifications, a MMS is structured
like it (according to spec Wap forum)
MMS Header | MMS Body
I parsed the MMS Header and I found something regarding the content-type strange.
For example, my MMS contains a smil presentation. So the content-type is
application/vnd.wap.multipart.related; type="application/smil" start="<presentation-part>"
I think the hexa code is
What are the hexa code 1F and 28????
In the MMS Body, there are the media objects.
Each is defined like it :
I parsed the hexa code in order to distinguish the differents parts of the MMS body.
But I Have trouble to understand it.
For example, I have a smil presentation. This is the first media object of the MMS.
So the media object take place just after the definition of the content-type header of the MMS header.
Is it true?
So According to me, the hexa code for the smil presentation is :
hexa code for http://myserver/slide.smil
hexa code for slide.smil
But I didn't found that.
Firstly, the content-type for a smil presentation is application/octet-stream.
I don't understand.
Secondly, the binary code is very different of that I thought (see before).
I had :
796170706c69636174696f6e2f6f637465742d73747265.... application/octet-stream<?xml version="1.0"....
I don't understand the signification.
Someone can help me,please.
Thanks a lot
