Question Any way to extend cldc1.0 devices to accept CLDC1.1 classes?

Hi! I just found out that CLDC1.0 doesnt support Double and Float objects. I need these classes badly for my application works on geometric operations in image processing.
Is there a way for devices supporting cldc1.0, to support cldc1.1 classes/methods? how do i do this? Your help will be invaluable..Thank you in advance.

one way is to write ur own Float and Double classes.. Just take the class definition in the java sdk and create a copy of that...

or if the purpose of Float and Double is to store large variable use basic data type long
