GPRS download "Retry or data will be lost"

I am trying to get download by GPRS (using http) working, on the Nokia 6670 the download fails very often.
The downloaded files are between 1 and 3 MB.

    The error message is
"Retry or data will be lost" with an OK oprion that does not work. The phone does not respond anymore.

How can this error be prevented?
    Where could it come from?

That is just very big file for your phone. I think you should download directly to DISK, I do not know if you can do it by symbian HTTP stack.

I would use Rsocket and do HTTP 0.9 by hand. (there are no headers in HTTP 0.9 )

    1. Open RSocket
    2. write "GET /foo/bar\r\n"
    3. Read all data with TBuf512
    4. Save data to disk
    5. goto 3 unless KErrEof
    6. Close

    NOTE3:
You cannot use DNS based virrual hosts using HTTP/0.9 . So if there are different sites behind one IP number this will fail.

Actually the problem turned out to be a build-defect. After a completely clean checkout from the source control system and trashing all object files., the download worked just fine.
