Can I deploy my MIDlet to real phone without siging?

I'm going to develop a MIDlet with MIDP 2.0.

I reviewed some documents from Noki forum, they say MIDlet need to sign.

However, I hope to deploy my MIDlet to real phone without signing. Is this impossible?

    Yes.

You don't need to sign MIDlets to deploy them on the phone. If the MIDlet isn't signed it will belong to the "untrusted" domain, so it will ask for user confirmation if you try to do certain things like connect to the network, send SMS, etc. But it will work alright except for that.
