    Getting Images in JAR

Is there a way where i can get the images in the jar file and save it on the phones gallery through J2me code.

i am creating a picture puzzle game were after the game the player has the option to save the picture on his phone's gallery or better yet used it as screensaver. Is this possible?

    Thanks,

Usually no. The newer phones might support JSR-75, so it would be possible with them.

I think the best you can do with standart J2ME code is saving the images in the .Jar in a Record from a RecordStore. Then the user could display them again thanks to a(nother) J2ME appli (to be coded).

But this would not allow him to put the images in his gallery, which, I think, requires an non-public API, developed by the constructor.

    Cheers,
