    Incoming call

    Hi,

    I am assigning High priority of my active object which listens for incoming calls. But, still the native incoming caller screen gets displayed for a while before poping up my screen. I don't use any threads. Do I need to set any priority of my application and How?

    Thanks,

    I want to start an app on an incoming call, but my app only starts after accepting or rejecting the call - after pressing a button that is. Can you tell me how you got it popping up faster? Thanks in advance.

    I use -
    iObserver->iWinGroup=RWindowGroup(CEikonEnv::Static()->WsSession());
    User::LeaveIfError(iObserver->iWinGroup.Construct((TUint32)&iObserver->iWinGroup));
    iObserver->iWinGroup.EnableReceiptOfFocus(ETrue);
    iObserver->iWinGroup.SetOrdinalPosition(0, KMaxTInt);

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks. It works - in a way. I first get my ringtone, then the nokia ringtone (where this comes from... I don't know) and only then my app. I'll continue my quest and let you know if I got something better.

    If I turn on the 'silent' profile, then the app is not called at all untill I accept / reject the call.
