    Ftp Api

    Hello,

I am trying to develope a simple FTP client that uploads and downloads a file from a server. Although the CFTPSession and CFtpProtocol classes are documented, I think that there aren't this DLLs in phone. Does anybody know something about FTP library in Series 60 phones?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, you are correct, there is no ftp dll in the phone itself. I had to write my own ftp client a while back to save a file to an ftp server.

Find the FTP protocol specification on the IETF web site. The related RFC(s) will tell you everything you need to know in order to make your own, complete FTP implementation:

You can also find some FTP example which uses Open C: Library above, Code examples, Symbian C++ ("Select technology"), Networking.
