August 1, 2002 Thursday?.Zero response from your company, after 2 weeks of E-Mailing you. and talking myself blue in the face here in Paris at everyone of your agencies here, FNAC, Surcouf, Nokia Club. I guess that I will have to use another phone. No one here understands it or knows how to make it work.
Here is my problem again. Do I use Data Suite 3.0a for my Nokia 6310i with Windows XP Pro, because the 4.81 software is asking for me to install it, or do I use PC Suite 4.81 updated download or 4.80 CDROM which came with the phone? I have 4.81 now working OK with the cable only on my Sony VAIO with Windows XP Pro, using a serial port I added through a USB port, on the Sony, which works great. I cannot purchase your Bluetooth PCMCIA card anywhere in Paris. My AmbiCom PCMCIA bluetooth card works just fine, even with your phone when using the modem. The modem dials the number entered on my laptop on the phone using Bluetooth or on the cable connection, but all calls are dropped seconds after they are dialed and I cannot do a data connection to dial into the Internet using AOL's special local Paris GSM mobile number. The PC Suite 4.81 also seems to only work with your cable for sync programs etc., which are all working just fine with the phone and my MS Outlook. However, I cannot do a data call with the modem that was offered on the 4.81 webpage, and the software wants to ask for DataSuite 3.0. Phone dials number, but drops the call. What is going on? I am really frustrated at lack of customer support at all levels of your organization. If I am going to have to work for you to figure all this out, then please send me money for the hours I have wasted when I could have been making a living?lol.

PS - Your people here in Paris at Nokia Club at rue 22 whatever here in Paris, do not even know what I am talking about. FNAC, where I bought the phone is also lost. Surcouf tells me that your data connection does not work with Windows XP Pro, because you have not yet purchased a license for Windows XP Pro so that you can write software for it. Where is the truth here?
